David Saloff
|
Founder of EPI and responsible for the original development and marketing the SofPulse device. Mr. Saloff has served on the board of directors of ADMT since December, 2001 and is a founder and a Managing Director of Palisades Partners, a management consulting company, concentrating in medical product design and marketing. Mr. Saloff brings 20 years of leadership in the medical device and technology field. Mr. Saloff was the President of LifeWaves International from 1999 to 2003, a health and fitness start-up. There he formed the executive team, executed all operational activities, including participating in raising $14 Million in angel investor funds.

In 1992, Saloff founded and directed EPI., which placed its medical devices in nearly 500 nursing homes, hospitals and other locations across the country. Saloff was responsible for the design, development and subsequent FDA clearance of its medical device, SofPulse, and for over 100 employees and independent sales representatives in the US and abroad. Under his direction, the company developed into a thriving firm that successfully completed an IPO in 1995.

Prior to starting EPI, Saloff consulted for DH Blair, Inc. to start up the public company Xsirius, Inc. and its two subsidiaries, Advanced Photonix and Xsirius Superconductivity. He later served as COO of Xsirius, and as Executive Vice President and Director of Advanced Photonix. He helped complete a major acquisition for Advanced Photonix, and moved the company to the American Stock Exchange.

In 1982, he joined Akros Manufacturing as President and co-owner, transforming it from a bankrupt start-up medical device company into a profitable international multi-million-dollar concern and in 1986 negotiated its sale to the Lumex (Cybex) Corp. Saloff began his career with mortgage banker J.I. Kislak Financial (NJ). He earned his bachelor's degree in business from Adelphi University.
